Webcasting FAQ

Is there a limit to the number of viewers that can watch the livestream?


There is no limit for the number of viewers who can watch the broadcast. However if you do believe that you will have a large event with a high number of viewers, please let us know.




What happens when the Internet at our venue is slow, are you still able to Live Stream?


We have a wireless device locked to a fixed IP address that we can use that works independently of the venues internet. A small extra fee applies.




Our organization has a large following on Facebook. We have been streaming from a phone but wish to improve the quality, can you help?


We have a system that allows us to stream 16x9 to Facebook using a broadcast quality camera. The picture will be bigger and HD, and the the audio would be a vast improvement as it is hooked directly from our sound board and microphones.




How much notice or lead time is required for booking YES AudioVisual services?


Most clients plan their events weeks to months in advance. The sooner you contact YES AudioVisual, the more time we have to take steps to execute your project successfully. How much notice or lead time is required for booking YES AudioVisual services?

Don’t underestimate the number of people that may be looking for an excellent AV service provider. Book your spot as soon as you can.




We have a presenter that can't make it to our conference. Can they connect remotely via Skype or Zoom, or a similar type of service?


Yes! We do this all the time (often with very little notice). Best to put us in touch with the presenter in advance, and we will schedule a test call. We have also used Skype for client interviews with Global and CBC. When you connect a broadcast camera and sound board to Skype, the quality is amazing!




Do we have to use the in-house Audio Visual Provider at the venue we are using?


Typically you do not need to use the in-house AV company. Over the years we have worked in most of the hotels and conference venues around Metro Vancouver. Please call for more information.




We need to show a computer presentation to a very large group. We are expecting close to 300 people. Do you rent large screens and projectors?


Yes, we have large screens and high lumen projectors that would be suitable for the 300 people you have attending. We would recommend two screens and two projectors and would be happy to send you a quote for everything you need. We need to know what venue you are using, and what the room seating arrangements are. We will size the screens appropriately for the room you are using. Please give us a call.




We are doing a series of events across Western Canada. Are you able to support events in multiple cities?


We have done events all over Vancouver Island, in Whistler, Kelowna, Kamloops, Merritt, Prince George, Calgary and Banff. Please get in touch.
